Washington County Hospital audit

BKD, LLP released an audit report on Washington County Hospital, in Washington.

The Hospital's revenues totaled $43,347,807 for the year ended June 30, 2019, a .29 percent decrease from the prior year. The revenues included

$33,263,386 in net patient revenue, $8,064,806 of other operating revenue, $231,161 from noncapital contributions, $1,248,107 from property taxes, $504,722 of investment gains and other $35,625.

Expenses for the year totaled $43,738,908, a 2.65 percent decrease from the prior year, and included $24,701,985 for wages and employee benefits, $4,311,483 for medical professional fees and $14,725,440 for other operating and non-operating expenses including depreciation and interest.
