Washington County ISU Extension to host new member event for 4-H

The Washington County Extension Office, 4-H & Youth Committee and the County Council are sponsoring '4-H Fire Up!,” a new member event for 4-H members and parents/guardians. The event is Sunday, March 28, from 1:30-4 p.m. at the Washington County Extension Office.

This meeting is designed to provide information and hands-on activities about 4-H, various project areas, 4-H opportunities, upcoming events, and much more. It is open to all 4-H'ers, but will be most beneficial to those in 4-H three years or less. Parents are strongly encouraged to attend. Each family will receive a 4-H handbook.

'This is an excellent time for youth and parents to learn more about 4-H and grow together,” stated a news release from the extension office.
