Washington County to hold ‘Winter Fair’

The Friends of the Fair, a dedicated committee of volunteers, have coordinated the 3rd annual Washington County Winter Fair set for March 12.

This special evening out at the “Washington County Winter Fair” is a time for adult 4-H and County Fair friends to enjoy time together without chores and a busy fair schedule—but to enjoy a night out together and give to Washington County 4-H.

This evening spent at Lebowski’s in Washington includes a plated meal, dessert auction, 50/50 raffle, a cash bar – plus time with Washington County 4-H alum, volunteers, supporters, and friends.

“Initially in 2018 we kept saying this was a one-year only type event but I knew deep down, this was something that, if successful, would continue for years to come,” said Janelle Johnson, Friends of Fair committee chairperson. “It is an opportunity for fair friends to catch up part way through the year and support the 4-H program as well as the Washington County Fair! Each year has been a little different but always a fun evening and I expect nothing less from this year’s event!”
