Washington FFA Alumni Association meets

The Washington FFA Alumni Association held their second meeting on Wednesday, April 5, at the Washington High School FFA Room. Washington FFA Advisor Trent Steinhart welcomed those in attendance.

The first item on the agenda was taking care of membership dues. Anyone is welcome to join the Washington FFA Alumni Association whether they?ve been a past FFA member or not. Alumni members discussed the possibility of having an alumni committee that could review applications for a local scholarship to attend Washington FFA Leadership Conference to be held in Washington, D.C. this summer. Taylor Flynn, Jan Dallmeyer and Brad Sheetz will help select winners to receive their trip registration fee.

The election of alumni officers was next on the agenda. Alumni members present unanimously elected the following officers: President ? Taylor Flynn; Secretary ? Kerri Bell and Treasurer ? Lance Bell.
