Washington High School class of 1973 holds reunion

The Washington High School class of 1973 recently held their 50th reunion on September 22-23, 2023. A group of approximately 20 people met for supper at Café Dodici Friday night prior to attending the informal gathering at JP’s, where they were joined by many more classmates.

Saturday morning, a small group met for coffee at Dodici’s Shop. Saturday night’s festivities were held at Dallmeyer Hall at the fairgrounds. They started with a social hour, followed by class photo taken by Jan Wagenknecht.

Patsy Porter presented the memorial, and Debbie (Crawford) Ponder gave the blessing. They had a delicious meal catered by HIM Hearth-N-Home from Kalona. Approximately 78 classmates and significant others were in attendance. A good time was had by all.
