Washington High School hosts college fair for area high school students, parents
All area high school students and their parents are invited to learn more about their college options at the Washington High School College Fair, Thursday, March 26, at the Washington High School gymnasium. All area high school students and their parents are invited to learn more about their college options at the Washington High School College Fair, Thursday, March 26, at the Washington High School gymnasium. The college fair will be from 1:15 to 2:45 p.m., hosted by the Iowa Association for College Admission Counseling (Iowa ACAC) and the Counseling Department at Washington High School.
Representatives from approximately 60 colleges, universities, and military branches will be on hand to visit with high school students and their parents. Families have an opportunity to discuss admission requirements, housing, financial aid, scholarships, internships and specific majors with the college representatives.
Students from 20 surrounding high schools have been invited to attend. Anyone who is interested in attending a postsecondary institution is invited to take advantage of this opportunity.
