Washington Historical Society meets

The Executive Board of the Washington County Historical Society met at 9 a.m., June 27, at Conger House in Washington. Eight members attended, and Ferd Marie was presiding officer.

The summer exhibit is on photography. Old cameras, tintypes and stereopticons are on display. There is information on early photographers in the county. The exhibit can be seen the third Sunday of each month from June through September.

A grant application was turned in for renovation of the Medical Room. Deborah Wagner has resigned from the board. It was suggested that Jane Conger's wedding ring be displayed with her other personal jewelry and items in Conger House.

The next meeting will be held at 9 a.m., July 25, at Conger House.
