Washington library hosting Winter Family Reading

Residents are invited to join the Washington Public Library's Winter Family Reading program. Kits are available to any family, and includes the parts to make a snowman at home.
For every 30 minutes a family reads together, they can add a part to their snowman. Once completed, families can bring their snowman to the library, and the librarians will display it in the front window. The library will also purchase a book to honor each participating family to be placed in its collection.
Call the library at 653-2726 to register. You can also request books to be checked out, and delivered curbside. Snow is falling and books are calling.
