Washington library hosting Writers’ Workshop Saturday
The Washington Public Library will host the Washington Writers’ Workshop on Saturday, Nov. 20 from 10 a.m. to noon.
The event will feature a virtual presentation by Tramaine Suubi, a first-year poet at the Iowa Writers’ Workshop. Suubi was born in Uganda, speaks four languages and has lived in four countries. She earned a double bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and French from Wheaton College, Illinois.
The first hour of the event will be devoted to Suubi’s presentation, and the second hour will be participants discussing their submissions.
Masks are recommended.
