Washington library hosts ‘Stories from the recipe box’

The Washington Public Library is asking patrons to send in a copy of their favorite recipe, plus a story that goes along with that recipe.
Patrons can write a paragraph or a page. Recipes and stories will be shared with the community in upcoming months by Facebook, events email, The Union newspaper, and a printed booklet. Participants will receive a copy of the booklet.
Email recipes and stories to LeAnn Kunz at leann.kunz@washington.lib.ia.us or mail them to Washington Public Library 115 W. Washington St. in Washington, IA 52353.
