Washington library plans programs in Central Park

Washington Public Library has announced a few of its programs will occur in Central Park this month.
The library will host “FriYaY Funday” on Friday, Sept. 17 at 1:30 p.m. Washington County Conservation will be giving an educational and interactive program about snakes and turtles. This event is free for school age kids.
The library will host a “teen book tasting” on Monday, Sept. 27 at 4 p.m. The program is geared toward book lovers in search of something new, and will include the opportunity to sample a variety of genres and authors available through the WPL. This event is free for grades 6-12th.
