Washington Rotary Club gives awards
The Washington Rotary Club honored non-Rotarians and Rotarians alike at its annual awards dinner June 24 at the Washington Golf & Country Club.
The award recipients that evening included:
- Kael Adam, Rotary Scholarship recipient and John Prochaska Rotary Service Award winner
- Anna Miller, Rotary Scholarship recipient
- Bob Kennedy, Rotarian of the Year
- Ken Hanson, Bill Sitler Rotary Community Service Award winner
Three long-time Washington Rotarians who retired their memberships due to age were recognized at the club’s awards dinner, too: John Moenck, Emory VanGerpen and Dick Colby.
Brett Pierson was announced as the incoming club president, replacing outgoing president Paul Horak.
