Washington School Board to meet

The Washington School Board will meet Wednesday, Oct. 14, at the central office.

The first meeting will begin at 7 p.m. This will be the final meeting of the retiring members of the board. The only item on the agenda is reviewing school board election results.

The second meeting will be the organizational meeting of the new board. Items on the agenda include: swearing in board members, electing the president and vice president of the board, board committees, selection of alternate signature on bank documents, adoption of resolution for official depositories, determination of dates, times and places of regular board meetings, appointment of legal counsel, appointment of county compensation board, transportation report, nutrition report, activity report, district finance report, public hearing on purchase of house, action items - real estate purchase, early childhood center design approval, discussion item - IASB convention, board committee reports, curriculum report and superintendent's report.
