Washington School Board to meet Wednesday

The Washington Community School District Board of Education will meet in regular session at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 8, in the high school media center.
Items on the agenda include a public hearing on the school calendar for 2014-15, a presentation by foreign exchange students, consent items, SIAC recommendations, update goal 4 of district goals, auditorium committee resolutions, board committee reports, curriculum report and superintendent's report.
The board will meet in closed session per Iowa Code Chapter 21.5(1)(i) to evaluate the competency of an individual whose performance is being considered.
