Washington Tree Committee celebrates volunteers
WASHINGTON - The Washington Tree Committee presented two Volunteer of the Year awards for 2019 to Nick Duvall and Dale Haifley. Haifley was described as a great volunteer who always said 'yes” and showed up to writhe with tools and a smile. Duvall was tasked with coordinating the ridding of the Emerald Ash Bore riddled trees in the city and was described as organized, efficient and on top of things.
