Don't miss the final Washington Writers' Workshop of the season before summer break.
The Washington Public Library's writers' workshop will be held on Saturday, May 18, from 10 a.m. to noon, with a presentation by fiction writer Anna Bruno.
Bruno is a writer and professor of business communications at the University of Iowa's Tippie College of Business. She also coaches executives and MBAs on developing and delivering presentations. Previously, Bruno managed public relations and marketing for technology and financial services companies in Silicon Valley. She holds a bachelor's from Stanford University, an MBA from Cornell University and an MFA in fiction from the Iowa Writers' Workshop. Her debut novel, Ordinary Hazards, is forthcoming in 2020.
