Washington yard waste center to have extended hours
The City of Washington's waste water treatment plant and yard waste center located at 1065 W. Buchanan St., is open from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Washington residents can drop off their yard waste and tree trimmings.

The City of Washington's waste water treatment plant and yard waste center located at 1065 W. Buchanan St., is open from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Washington residents can drop off their yard waste and tree trimmings.
The waste water treatment plant and yard waste center will extend its hours on Saturday mornings from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. on the following dates: Oct. 24, Oct. 31, Nov. 7, Nov. 14 and Nov. 21.
The yard waste center doesn't accept lumber or building materials of any type. Please remember if you didn't grow it, don't throw it! Any questions can be directed to the waste water treatment plant office at 653-2638.
