Washington’s spring cleanup scheduled for April 18 postponed

The City of Washington Spring Cleanup event, originally scheduled for April 18, has been postponed due the COVID-19 pandemic. The new tentative date and time is Saturday, May 30 from 7-11 a.m. This
central site cleanup occurs at the Yard Waste Center at the Wastewater Treatment Plant, 1065 West Buchanan. Any questions may be referred to City Hall at 319-653-6584 or Johnson County Refuse at 319-665-4498.
