Wasson, Lanman announce engagement

Hilary Ann Wasson and Matthew Allen Lanman of Fremont announce their engagement and upcoming wedding.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Gloria and Don Wasson of Libertyville. Her grandparents are Mary Del and Harold Griffiths of Libertyville and Helen Nicholson of Pleasant Plain. The groom-elect is the son of Brenda and Paul Jeffers of Ottumwa and Dawn and Roger Lanman of Norwalk. He is the grandson of Mildred Burkhiser of Ottumwa and Craig Lanman of Eldon.

Wasson graduated from Fairfield High School in 2006 and Kirkwood Community College in 2008 with a degree in agricultural business. She attended Northwest Missouri State, where she majored in agricultural business and minored in animal science. She is currently employed at Crop Production Service in Oskaloosa.

Lanman graduated from Pekin High School in 2008 and Muscatine Community College in 2010 with a degree in feed and fertilizer marketing. He is currently employed at Golden Furrow in Hedrick.

The wedding will be at 4:30 p.m. Sept. 10 at Living Hope Bible Church in Eldon. A reception will follow at Carl Craft Civic Center in Hedrick.
