The English River Watershed Management Authority will hold its quarterly board meeting at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, May 21, at the Sigourney Public Library, 720 E. Jackson St. Please note that this meeting will start one hour later than usual.
Staff from the Iowa Flood Center will attend and provide a demonstration of the Iowa Flood Information System (IFIS), an online application that provides community-level flood conditions, forecasts, and other flood-related data. The agenda also includes updates and discussion about the watershed assessment project and plan development, funding, recent grant applications, and financials.
Members of the public are encouraged to attend English River WMA meetings and participate in discussions. Individuals needing accommodations to attend ERWMA events should call Jody at 319-656-2310.
