Wayland churches to host Thanksgiving lunch

Wayland churches will once again host the annual community Thanksgiving meal.
For more than 15 years, the free dinner has fed over 150 people annually. The churches from the local area make all the homemade fixings of a traditional Thanksgiving meal. Food is served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day at WACO High School in Wayland.
Dine-in and carry out meals are offered. Free-will donations accepted and proceeds go back to local food pantries. For more information or to help, contact Pastor Greg Stacy, 319-471-0576.
