The Wayland Lions Club reports a very successful fruit sale for 2013. It was highlighted by the help of six WACO LEO Club members helping to sell the apples, grapefruit and oranges. Lions Stan Meyer and Royce Roth picked up the fruit and delivered it to the Wayland Community Center in time for the sale that began at 8 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 6, and carried over to Saturday morning. The Wayland Lions Club reports a very successful fruit sale for 2013. It was highlighted by the help of six WACO LEO Club members helping to sell the apples, grapefruit and oranges. Lions Stan Meyer and Royce Roth picked up the fruit and delivered it to the Wayland Community Center in time for the sale that began at 8 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 6, and carried over to Saturday morning. The Wayland Lions are proud of the local LEO Club and their involvement in activities of the local Wayland, Crawfordsville and Olds Lions clubs. They are a valuable asset to the clubs and to their communities.
