Chapter Iowa J of National T.T.T. Society met Monday, Feb. 3, 2014, at the Wayland Community Center at 7 p.m.

Chapter Iowa J of National T.T.T. Society met Monday, Feb. 3, 2014, at the Wayland Community Center at 7 p.m.

Recording Secretary Georgia Fort took roll, with 19 members present. Minutes of the Dec. 2 meeting were approved as read. Treasurer Jeanne Davis gave her report.
Correspondence included 2014 camper information and request for identification of the number of campers the chapter would be sending this year, and a letter of resignation of office of vice president.
Lori Graber noted having sent an expression of sympathy to Linda Revis, Past National T.T.T. President.
A list of possible names for campers was presented and the chapter approved sending four campers to T.T.T. camp this season. Camp committee will make initial contact with the families as soon as possible.
The chapter approved doing a ?tip night? at a Washington restaurant on March 24, and ?tip nights? at a Mount Pleasant restaurant on June 30 and Sept. 3. These proceeds will help purchase all the necessary items for campers and all the camping expenses. Sharon Bright requested transfer to Crawfordsville L and said transfer was respectfully granted.
Iowa State T.T.T. Convention will be held April 11-12 at Sullivan Brothers Convention Center in Waterloo.
Susan Mast will chair the committee to serve the WACO National Honor Society Tea on April 7. There will be a sign-up sheet at the March 4 meeting for working and for cookies.
Cindy Seberg was duly elected to fill the vice president vacancy for the remainder of the 2014 fiscal year.
Refreshments were served from a Valentine-themed table. President Lori thanked hostesses Rachel Meyer and Judy Hueholt. Hostesses for the March 3, 7 p.m. meeting at the community center are Diann Miller and Willa Wilson.
