Wayland’s Iowa J of National T.T.T. Society welcomes new member

Wayland’s Iowa J of the National T.T.T. Society met Tuesday evening, Sept. 26, 2023 at 7 p.m. at the Wayland Community Center with seven members present.
President Georgia Fort called the meeting to order and Sword of Gold was sung. The Welcoming Ceremony was held for McKenna Vradenburg as she joins our chapter.
Recording Secretary Tracy Hill read minutes of Aug. 22, 2023 meeting and they were approved as read. Treasurer Lori Messer gave her report and told members that the chapter’s R&D Report has been filed and accepted.
Georgia had sent a card of congratulations to WACO Homecoming Queen Marie Farmer, a former Iowa J camper.
It was voted to make a member an Honorary Member of Iowa J as she now lives in a senior care facility.
Iowa J will be working a TIP NIGHT, Monday night, Oct. 9, at Mt. Pleasant Pizza Ranch.
National Convention By-Law Revisions were discussed and delegates will vote at National Convention, Oct. 20/21.
Plans are being made to meet with Chapter L for November. Next regular meeting will be Oct. 23, 2023 at 7 at the Wayland Community Center. Installation of Officers will take place at this meeting. Consensus of the group to hold the December meeting on Saturday, Dec. 2 at the Your Choice Restaurant for a breakfast meeting and chapter gift exchange.
Closing Creed was repeated and meeting adjourned.
