WCHC board of trustees to meet

The Washington County Hospital and Clinics board of trustees will meet at 4 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 28, 2019, in the Robert Nicola Conference Room at the Hospital located at 400 E. Polk Street. The purpose of the meeting is to hold a public hearing on the 2019-20 County Budget, and immediately following the public hearing, a regular monthly Board Meeting will be held.

Items on the agenda include: Public Hearing on the 2019/2020 County Budget, monthly quality report and service update, Personnel/Credentials Committee and a financial report for January 2019. Four capital expenditure requests will be considered for a convection oven, convection steamer, ice machine and air handling unit installation. Additionally, there will be a marketing report, presentation of the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest policies following by the CEO management report.

Following the open session, the Board will meet in closed session according to State of Iowa Code Chapter 21.5(1)(a) for the compliance report and according to State of Iowa Code 21.5(1)(l) for peer review and for strategic planning/community based care.
