Washington County 4-H members weighed-in production barrow projects on Saturday, March 18, for the 2017 Washington County Fair marking the official start date of their project.
The class doubled in size from last year with 11 4-H members weighing in 50 pigs.
Those swine 4-H members with production barrows will receive email notification to verify weights in 4hOnline by May 15. Any breeding animals will also need to be entered into 4hOnline accounts by May 15. Staff at the Extension office can assist with this if needed.
Alexa and Callie Huber, of the Limecreek Limelights 4-H Club, both weighed in pigs with the help of their parents. Ace?N?More of Washington provided buckets to help kick off this livestock project year.
