Wells to celebrate 70th anniversary
Washington residents Don and Jackie Wells are celebrating their 70th anniversary this year. They met and were married in San Antonio, Texas, on Nov. 1, 1951, while both were serving in the Air Force.
They lived in Texas, Alaska, and Minnesota before settling in Iowa. They have three daughters - Kathy, Chris, and Carrie - five grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
