Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church, 2151 200th St, Mt. Pleasant will host The Victorymen from southwest Missouri for a gospel concert Sunday, May 25 at 7:00 PM. There is no admission charge for the concert.
The Victorymen will graciously accept a freewill offering, and may offer for sale some of their recordings.
The Victorymen formed in August of 1987, and since then have traveled through thirty states and over 500 churches to lift the name of Jesus through southern gospel music. They have sung with the Anchormen, the Steeles, the Lesters, the Florida Boys, Amy Grant, and others, at such events as Midwest Quartet Convention, Spirit Fest Midwest, Treasure Lake Resort, the Taylorsville and Mesquite Oprys, and the Gospel Palace.
To add to the evening, at 5:30 p.m., the folks of Wesley Chapel will serve a supper of sandwiches, salads, and desserts, all for any freewill offering (proceeds toward roof and kitchen repair). Wesley Chapel is about 6 miles NE of Mt. Pleasant, with plenty of free parking, and both upper and lower levels are accessible.
