White Cloud Club meets in Wayland

Six members of the White Cloud Club enjoyed lunch at Your Choice Family Restaurant in Wayland on Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2023.
President Betty Lintz opened the business meeting and read a greeting about Thanksgiving.
Roll call was answered by the number of Mums each had.
Minutes were approved as read by Pat Miller and dues were paid.
Old Business: Approved paying of a bill.
New Business: 2023-24 program books were passed out
The next meeting will be the Christmas meeting at the home of Jolene Colthurston Tuesday, December 5 at 11:30 a.m. Everyone is to bring two dozen baked items to exchange and a $5 item for a gift exchange.
Pauline was thanked for being hostess and sharing treats.
Attending were Diane Johnston,Betty Lintz, Pat Miller,Margaret Patterson, Pauline Richardson and Virginia Sands.
STATE CROSS COUNTRY TRACK MEET
Doug and Carol Steele accompanied their daughter and husband, Doug and Carrie Wilkerson and Dick and Linda Wilkerson to Fort Dodge on October 28 to watch their granddaughter, Emma Wilkerson run in the State Cross Country meet. She placed 19th of 138 runners. Congratulations, Emma!! Emma is a senior at Center-Point Urbana High School. This made her 4th trip to State and is her last.
WELCOME, Ellanor!
Ellanor Judith Lynne Hogue was born November 4, 2023 at 4:21 p.m. ro Cory and Shelby Hogue of Crawfordsville. She weighed 7 lbs. and 2 oz . and was 20.5 inches long. Ellanor was welcomed by two wonderful and helpful siblings, 10 year old Maddie and 4 year old Gearsyn.
Proud grandparents are Sherri Horak of Washington, C.J. Horak of Crawfordsville and Tiffany Hogue of Fairfax. Great-grandparents are Margaret Patterson of Crawfordsville and Mary Hunsaker and the late Jim Hunsaker of Washington.
