Whithams celebrating 50th wedding anniversary
Kenny and Karen Whitham of rural Fairfield will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house hosted by their children, family and friends from 2-4 p.m. Sunday at Prairie View United Methodist Church in rural Ollie.
Karen Smutz and Kenneth Whitham were married Nov. 16, 1963, in Libertyville.

Kenny and Karen Whitham of rural Fairfield will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house hosted by their children, family and friends from 2-4 p.m. Sunday at Prairie View United Methodist Church in rural Ollie.
Karen Smutz and Kenneth Whitham were married Nov. 16, 1963, in Libertyville.
Their children are Steve and Kim Whitham of Ames, Scott and Kibben Whitham of Libertyville and Mike and Ashley Whitham of Columbia, Tenn. They also have eight grandchildren.
The Whithams continue to farm and raise hogs outside of Fairfield.
Anyone unable to attend the open house is welcome to send cards to the Whithams at 1594 Hemlock Ave., Fairfield 52556.
