WHS class of 1948 celebrates 69th reunion
The Wayland High School class of 1948 held their 69th class reunion at the Bestro in Washington on Friday, Sept. 8.
The table centerpiece had a bouquet of roses in memory of the nine classmates who have died. The bouquet was give to the attendee who had the most great-grandchildren, which was Mary Frances Graber, who has 27.

The Wayland High School class of 1948 held their 69th class reunion at the Bestro in Washington on Friday, Sept. 8.
The table centerpiece had a bouquet of roses in memory of the nine classmates who have died. The bouquet was give to the attendee who had the most great-grandchildren, which was Mary Frances Graber, who has 27.
A brick from the old high school building was spray-painted white with large purple letters reading ?WHS.? It was placed on the table along with a large white ?W? from a letter sweater of the basketball players and cheerleaders from the class.
Each member was asked to share some memories from high school.
Virginia Tschant and Pauline Wyse organized the event.
