Wiggins to celebrate 90th birthday Sept. 1
Opal Wiggins, of Mt. Pleasant, is set to celebrate her 90th birthday on Sept. 1, 2016.
Wiggins was born on Sept. 1, 1926. She is the mother of Esther (David) Lance, of Trenton; Julie (Mike) Conner, of Las Vegas, Nev.; and the late Retha Wiggins; and the grandmother of four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Wiggins was born on Sept. 1, 1926. She is the mother of Esther (David) Lance, of Trenton; Julie (Mike) Conner, of Las Vegas, Nev.; and the late Retha Wiggins; and the grandmother of four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She will be celebrating with a card shower and an open house. Esther Lance and Julie Conner will host an open house for Wiggins on Sept. 10, from 2 to 4 p.m., at the Trenton Methodist Church.
