Wilson, Olson married in September ceremony

John David Olson and Lucy Jane Wilson were married Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012, at DeSoto Lutheran Church in DeSoto, Wis., with the Rev. Doug Andersen officiating the wedding.

The wedding party included Anna Wilson, sister of the bride, and Allison Olson, daughter of the groom.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held in La Crosse, Wis.

The bride is the daughter of Jeff and Devalyn Wilson and Criss and Tim Roberts of Burlington. She attended Fairfield High School, graduated from Simpson College in Indianola and is a museum educator at Living History Farms in Urbandale.

The groom is the son of David Olson of DeSoto and the late Patricia Olson. He attended Viroqua High School, graduated from Luther College in Decorah and is a design editor for Wood Magazine.

The couple honeymooned in Scotland.

They reside in West Des Moines.
