Winfield Lions Club to host Halloween Costume Contest

It’s that time again for ghosts, goblins, and other creatures to get out their costumes and enter the Winfield Lion’s Club Halloween Contest. The contest begins with registration at 5:15 pm Tuesday October 31 at the corner of East Pine and South Locust (main) Street in Winfield. No late entries.
The contest will begin at 5:30. In case of bad weather the contest will take place in the Winfield Legion Hall. (Vet’s Bldg.)
There are five categories. They are 0 to five years, six to nine years, ten to eighteen years, adults, and groups. Everyone is invited to participate in this fun-filled event. Prizes will be given.
