Winfield-Mt. Union football schedule correction

On Tuesday, the Mt. Pleasant News published the full Winfield-Mt. Union football schedule as part of its ?A look ahead? series, which leads up to the fall sports season.

W-MU?s Aug. 24 home game against English Valleys was glossed over, which made every game after that one week earlier than they should have been.

Another note to mention is that W-MU will be hosting its annual homecoming game on Sept. 21. That game will be a district contest against H-L-V Victor.

Tuesday?s issue also stated that W-MU has three home games on the schedule this season. The actual number is four, with two of those games happening in August.
