Winfield-Mt. Union XC runs at Williamsburg

WILLIAMSBURG ? The Winfield-Mt. Union cross-country team ran at Williamsburg on Thursday night. The Wolves had one top-10 finish and two in the top 26.
Brody Barton led the boys with the time of 18:17.8, which put him in 10th place overall. Asa Gipple finished 26th with a final time of 19:16.7.

Talon Newton finished the race in 21:48.1. Avinn Newton ran it in 24:09. Jack Moody finished in 27:08.4. Destiny Calvin crossed the line in 28:00.9, and Benjamin Hemsworth finished in 31:47.
On the girls? side, the team was led by Isabella Mertens. She crossed in 25:10, just three seconds ahead of Avery Maeder, who finished in 25:13. Whitney Vantiger crossed the line in 25:57 and Farrah Nelson had a finishing time of 26:24.
