Winfield?s Fitness Challenge

The City of Winfield's Betterment Committee is excited to announce the upcoming Mudwolf Mayhem and Hero's Run obstacle races scheduled for Oct. 4 at the Twin Lakes Recreation Center in Winfield.

The Hero's Run, a one mile race with mini obstacles, will begin at 1 p.m. followed by the Mudwolf Mayhem, a 5k event that challenges all athletic abilities, starting at 2 p.m. with heats to follow every 20 minutes until 5 p.m. Event fees are listed below:

• Hero's Run with free children's cape is $5.00 (add an event t-shirt for an additional $15.00)
• Mudwolf Mayhem with event t-shirt is $35.00

Register for the Mudwolf Mayhem before Sept. 19 and receive a free beverage ticket at the event.

All ages are welcome to participate. Twin Lakes will host activities including a bean bags tournament, live music, kids games and more. Food and beverages will be also available for purchase.
