Wizard of Oz coming to annual Conservation Night Hike
Henry County Conservation?s annual Night Hike begins in front of the Oakland Mills Nature Center on Monday, Oct. 24, from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
The Land of Oz is this year?s theme. Participants will have the chance to meet familiar Oz characters such as Dorothy, Scarecrow, Tin Man, Cowardly Lion, the Witches, and even the Wizard will teach about recycling and natural resources.

Henry County Conservation?s annual Night Hike begins in front of the Oakland Mills Nature Center on Monday, Oct. 24, from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
The Land of Oz is this year?s theme. Participants will have the chance to meet familiar Oz characters such as Dorothy, Scarecrow, Tin Man, Cowardly Lion, the Witches, and even the Wizard will teach about recycling and natural resources.
Six short skits by costumed actors will be educational and fun? not scary.
This is a free event for all ages, however, kids must be accompanied by an adult. Reservations are not necessary. There will be door prizes and snacks inside the Oakland Mills Nature Center.
In the event of inclement weather, skits will be performed inside the nature center. Call 319-986-5067 for more information.
