Wolper to speak on role of college student-athletes
MOUNT PLEASANT ? Will Wolper, commissioner of the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, will be the featured speaker at Iowa Wesleyan College at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Chapel Auditorium.

MOUNT PLEASANT ? Will Wolper, commissioner of the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, will be the featured speaker at Iowa Wesleyan College at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Chapel Auditorium.
The program is free and open to the public.
Wolper became the first full-time commissioner of St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference in July 2007. Prior to joining the SLIAC, he served as the director of information/assistant to the commissioner of the Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
Wolper will be speaking on the role of athletics in Division III institutions and the importance of the role of ?student? in the student-athlete model.
