Women of ELCA officers installed

First Lutheran Church in Fairfield installed its 2014 Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church officers during worship Sunday.

The Rev. Stacy Grau, pastor of the church, presided over the installation service.

Those serving this year are: co-presidents Marilyn Kane, Norma Bogner and Carol Carlson; vice president and treasurer Margaret Berg; secretary Patty Richardson; justice committee, Marilyn Kane and Judith Whitmore; stewardship committee, Margaret Berg and Letha Goehring; discipleship committee, board members; Equal Exchange Coffee Project, Joyce Schindler; historian, Becky Thompson; kitchen supplies, Debbie Riepe; reception and funeral meal coordinators, Claudia Worley and Mary Carolyn Larson; and Lutheran World Relief assistant, Lowell Vander Hamm.

New yearbooks were distributed to current members. All women are invited to participate in Bible studies, projects and special events sponsored by the Women of the ELCA.
