Woodys to celebrate 50th wedding anniversary
Ray and Laurie Woody of Fairfield will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception and open house from 1-4 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church.
The couple were married Aug. 16, 1963, in Arlington, Texas. They have two children, Stacey Thebodo and husband Chris of Orwell, Vt., and Todd Woody of Iowa City. They also have three grandchildren.

Ray and Laurie Woody of Fairfield will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception and open house from 1-4 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church.

Ray Woody is retired after having a veterinarian practice in Fairfield since 1967. Laurie Woody is retired after teaching school for 31 years.
