Young musicians in SEISO concerts
Southeast Iowa Symphony Orchestra will feature two young artists during its winter concert this weekend.
The two talented young artists are clarinetist Surekha Mullangi and pianist Heather Gillis.
The music will include: Stamitz - Clarinet Concerto No. 3 in B Flat Major (romanze, rondo) performed by Mullangi;
Brahms - Concerto No. 2 in B Flat Major (allegro appassionato) performed by Gillis;

Southeast Iowa Symphony Orchestra will feature two young artists during its winter concert this weekend.
The two talented young artists are clarinetist Surekha Mullangi and pianist Heather Gillis.
The music will include: Stamitz - Clarinet Concerto No. 3 in B Flat Major (romanze, rondo) performed by Mullangi;

Sibelius - Pohjola?s Daughter;
Dukas - Sorcerer?s Apprentice; and
Tchaikovsky - Symphony No. 2 in C minor, Op. 17, ?Little Russian.?
The SEISO concerts will be at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Memorial Auditorium in Burlington; at 3 p.m. Sunday at St. John Auditorium on the Indian Hills Community College campus in Ottumwa; and at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at Chapel Auditorium on the Iowa Wesleyan College campus in Mount Pleasant.
Tickets will be available at the door of each venue. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students.
