Youngquist receives prestigious choral award
Millie Youngquist of Washington received the distinguished Robert McCowen Award, the highest honor bestowed by the Iowa Choral Directors Association, on Sept. 21, 2019. Youngquist, a retired choir director of 34 years at WACO community schools, received this award for her lifetime commitment to choral music in the state of Iowa, and her contributions to the Iowa Choral Directors Association.
