The Edd King Memorial Fountain made its triumphant return this morning (Tues.). After being removed and loaded on a truck and taken to Robinson Iron Corp., in Alabama in October for repairs, City Park?s iconic monument has returned.
The Edd King Fountain may have been ready to be returned to its home, but the park itself needed a little help as the park?s ground was still muddy from last night?s rain. City crews laid down plywood for the heavy equipment to drive on. The crews worked throughout the morning to replace the fountain.
