The musical selections were in the tune of love, including ?Frozen?s? ?Love is an Open Door.? The crowd laughed and cheered during the halftime performance of the Mt. Pleasant boys? senior night ball game on Monday, Feb. 8, and the girls? senior night game on Friday, Feb 12.

Salem?s Fire Department was called to a hay-bale fire around noon Thursday on the 3000 grid of County Road W55, also known as Franklin Avenue. Some bales near a barn ignited and the department was able to put out the fire before it reached buildings. Salem Fire Chief Steve Nichting could not be reached for comment regarding the fire.
