The amount of tree limbs and trunks in the Skunk River at Oakland Mills is starting to grow. The limbs near the footbridge are shown in the photo. There is also a collection forming on the southwest side of the river as it approaches the Franklin Avenue Bridge. Several years ago, there was a huge logjam on the Skunk caused by tree branches, trunks, etc., and it cost the county over $30,000 to have the debris removed.
