Friday night, the Mt. Pleasant pep band got a helping hand from friends and alumni. Former band members and music enthusiasts alike headed to the bleachers, with instruments in hand, and started jamming out with their younger counterparts. Fifty-nine local and area vendors had their products on display Dec. 12 at a bazaar at the National Guard Armory. Organizers said the bazaar, hosted for the second year, gives local residents an opportunity to showcase their talents and also make some money for their work.
