Halloween is right around the corner and the Mt. Pleasant Interact Club, pictured above, will be hosting their annual Trick or Treat for Cans event. Any non-perishable foods will be collected from Linden Heights and other communities around town from 5 to 7 p.m., on Halloween. All of the food will then be donated to the Fellowship Cup.

The City of Mt. Pleasant?s free leaf collection is scheduled for the week of Nov. 16.All leaves must be bagged and placed at the curb on your designated trash day.
