WACO Elementary School students were treated to a new playground look when classes began on Monday, Aug. 24. A grant, written by retired WACO teacher Kathie Grimm, along with donations from several local groups, funded a facelift for the upper elementary playground. The old wood chips and matting were removed and new chips placed on the playground.
