A Code Red issued earlier this morning for a nine-year-old Mt. Pleasant youth has been lifted.Law enforcement officials were looking for the boy after he failed to board a school bus at the Mt. Pleasant Middle School.However, the boy was located just before 10 a.m. today.

Crawfordsville Elementary School has a new parking lot. Work on the $68,220 project was completed last week. The parking lot, however, cannot be used until labor day. The lot formerly was gravel. Contractors for the project were Coleman and T. Concrete Construction.

Henry County supervisors have a light agenda for their meeting tomorrow (Thurs.).The lone item on the agenda besides the various reports is an appointment to the county historic preservation commission.The board meets at 9 a.m. in the Henry County Courthouse.
